City of Norwood Young America, July 12, 2024 – The City of Norwood Young America wishes to address recent concerns stemming from a news story about an incident at Lino Lakes Assisted Living, managed by Cornerstone Management Services. As the landlord of The Harbor building, our involvement is limited to property ownership; however, we fully trust our tenants’ operations.
We want to reassure our community that the allegations reported are unfounded. Cornerstone Management Services, alongside their triage partners, conducted a thorough internal investigation and determined no wrongdoing in the alleged wrongful death at Lino Lakes Assisted Living.
Lino Lakes Assisted Living and all Cornerstone Management Services communities within Minnesota remain in good standing with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). The well-being and care of residents are of the utmost priority, and Cornerstone Management Services and its staff are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care and compassion.
