The Central Post Prom Committee invites the NYA community to watch the 1st, and probably only ever, 2020 Prom Car Cruise on May 2nd. The parade will begin at 2 pm and wind through the streets of Norwood Young America much like the Easter Bunny Wave Parade did!  Watch social media for updates closer to the parade for final route.

Would be Prom-goers can decorate their cars and parade around the town on the day that would have been their Junior/Senior Prom. Special thanks to the NYA Fire Department, who will be escorting the parade. We will be awarding prizes to the best decorated cars, via judges around the parade route. Special thanks to the NYA Chamber for their prize donations!

This is a great way to get outside and support these kids as they try to make the best of the current social situation while maintaining the required social distancing,  This parade, in addition to 25 nights of evening drawings for the prizes that would have been awarded to them at the Post Prom event,  will serve as their prom memories in a truly historic time.

Thank you to all the Community Members and Businesses that so generously donated to this event, it is a true bright spot for these teens!
